Make a Website Request…

The District website is always a work in progress and is open to contributions by all.

The District Media and Communications Team oversee the website and update content regularly. The team can develop requested content, including:

  • Events and Training – Advertise the dates of an event, provide details and locations or even take bookings.
  • News – Had a successful Group or District event or activity, send us some pictures and a short article to showcase.
  • Pictures and Gallery – We always welcome new pictures of Scouting activities to keep the website fresh, or if you have lots of pictures following an event we can add a whole gallery for all to view.
  • Activity or Team Pages – Run an activity or lead a team and want to showcase your activities, recruit others or provide information, let us know.
  • Scout Groups – Your Scout Group’s not got its own website? or want more of the Group’s information on the website? Have your own part of the District website, with more information on your Group’s Sections, contact details, downloads and more.
  • Add Role Vacancies – Got a District or Group role that needs filling? Add the role title and a brief role description to the form so people can enquire.
  • Anything else? – Got a good idea to make the website even better? Spotted a mistake? Existing content needs updating?

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
