First Aid Training Course, Sept26

Date: 26th September 2026 Between: 9:30 am - 4:30 pm Location: Stafford District Scouts Headquarters, St Peters Close, Stafford. ST17 4SN

Doing things safely is fundamental to everything we do in Scouts, and completing the first aid learning – also known as the First Response course – is a key part of that.

This course aims to cover the skills and knowledge necessary to enable volunteers to manage an incident and provide basic first aid. Our first response programme has been developed in collaboration with Girlguiding, with a common syllabus, resources and acceptance between the two organisations.

This is a 1-day face-to-face training course with 12 places per session.

The course fulfils the first response of the Scout Association’s learning.

After completion, you will receive a ‘1-day Emergency First Aid at Work’ certificate.

If this training is required for your role, you are asked to complete it within your first 12 months of volunteering and to renew it every three years. Please check My Membership on Scouts.org or with your line manager when your first aid training expires.
