District Scout Master at Arms Competition 2025

The annual District Master at Arms Competition is back for 2025! This is a days event at Sherratts Wood Campsite, including Air Rifle Shooting, Archery, Crossbow and Axe/Tommahawk Throwing.

• Location: Sherratts Wood Scout Campsite, Morrilow Heath, Leigh, ST10 4PF.
• Registration from: 9:30 am
• Start Time: 10:00 am
• Cost: £3 per participant
• Finish: 4 pm

Individuals can register via the link. This includes an electronic version of the consent form to save paper copies on the day

The competition will follow a similar format to last year, with Scouts being able to go to what events they wish and if they have time, try to improve on their scores.

For the “nerf” assault course challenge, teams of four are required to attend together at the same time.

For each of the events, there will be an individual champion. Overall, the Team competition will be decided by taking the top two scores from each event.

New this year: Laser shoot out

The individual and team winners will qualify to attend a new county competition in Spring 2026.
