Paddle Sports Sessions 2025
Dates for Cub and Scout Paddle Sports sessions for 2025 have been released!
This year for the Cubs and Scouts the Stafford District Canoe team will be running the usual kayak and Canadian canoe sessions (Scout groups only for Canoe).
These will be at the District Kayak Centre at Stafford Boat Club, Wildwood, Stafford.
Details – Sessions for Stafford District Cubs and Scouts
- Days: Wednesday nights – in May, June and July – two sessions per night.
- Spaces Available per Session: Up to 12 Cubs or 14 Scouts plus a few leaders who may wish to join them on the water.
- Cost: £30 per session, paid after the booking is confirmed and before the date of the session by bank transfer.
As the sessions are always in high demand, they are initially restricted to a maximum of two sessions per Pack or Troop. If groups wish to share half a session with another group of the same age range, contact the District Water Team and they will see if they can accommodate you.

Please email the District Water Team if you wish to book dates on a kayak or canoe session for your Section. Booking will be dealt with on a first come first serve basis.
Leaders River Trip
On Sunday March 23rd, there will be a River trip on offer for Adult leaders paddling on a local river or canal yet to be finalised.

Are you able to support?
The District Water Team is always looking for new volunteers to support running the paddle sports sessions. Open to new and exciting volunteers. Contact the Water Team for more information.
