Welcome to Stafford Gang Show – It’s a Wonderful Life

The Gang Show is back for 2025!

Stafford Gang show is a traditional variety performance including a number of sketches, dances and musical items presented by the members of the Scout movement in Stafford. Based on the original idea by Ralph Reader CBE, Scout Gang Shows have been performed around the UK and the world for over 90 years. Stafford Scout Gang Show recently reached an amazing milestone of 25 years. Taking place in the heart of the County, this is a Traditional Scout Gang Show, along with new ideas from modern day music.

First Rehearsal

The first rehearsal is Sunday 6th October, 12:30-2:15 for Cubs and 2:30-5:00 for Scouts, Explorers and Leaders. The first rehearsal will start with a 30-minute welcome meeting. which parents will need to attend. There is no commitment to participate by having attended the first rehearsal, so come down to find out what Stafford Gang Show is all about!

Show 2025

Stafford Gang Show will be starting rehearsals for their 2025 show in October, with rehearsals every Sunday. The show will be 19th-22nd February 2025, so you will need to be available for that full week. If you are an adult or young person in Scouting who has never been in a Gang Show, but is curious to know what it’s all about, then this is a perfect opportunity to find out more.
Rehearsals for Squirrels and Beavers will start after Christmas. The date is to be confirmed.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
